Some sell through computer shows/fairs and need to know contacts for the many offshore companies who have their warehouses right here in the USA.

Some want to by-pass their distributor all together, or become a distributor themselves.

Many build and sell over five computers a month and need suppliers to give them good prices even when ordering in smaller quantities.

Some don't want to build or service anything, they just want to sell, sell, sell and move systems out the door using system integrators to build, drop ship, and provide onsite service warranties to their customers.

There are also many system integrators who build computer systems for resellers. They are not published in the main stream computer magazines, because they're not selling to end-users.

If you're on the east coast, always buying from companies on the west coast, you need to know of many wholesale companies that might be in your own state or near by to get your orders faster. If you regularly buy in smaller quantities you could save a lot of money just in shipping charges.
